HULLING, SHELLING
Overview of Nut Processing
Our almond growers and bulk almond purchasers rely on us to ensure superior processing, packing and shipping.
We have invested in our own processing facilities to ensure that every aspect of the hollowing, shelling, sorting, and packing process is under control and that our customers always receive high-quality products.
Nuts grown by individual growers and packaged and marketed under the brand "green harvest" are sold with pride in over ten countries globally. The company's management and growers deserve all the credit for the brand's success, which is bolstered by a bright workforce committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and work ethic. The company also notes that "Our business model is still sustaining us today." We haven't strayed from our business plan, which is now supported by both our producers and consumers.
Once harvested, the almonds are transported from the fields to our processing center and begin their processing journey. The almonds are screened to remove dirt, leaves and branches. The hulls and shells are separated from the nut. Finally, the almonds go through a rigorous quality control process, ensuring they are free from remaining hull or shell material. Our process ensures a high-quality nut with low chip and scratch rates.
